I work for the National Trust Wiltshire Landscape and to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day we are organising a free event for the public at our property, Dinton Park (near Salisbury), on 29th May this year. The site has some interesting history as it was used as a base by the US Army Air Force and troops were sent here in preparation for D-Day.

We are looking for re-enactment groups to come along and bring a military exhibit (vehicles, weapons, displays etc.) and potentially provide small demonstrations or activities. I have tried contacting a few groups but am finding it difficult to get hold of anyone. Would you be able to send out a general request or provide me with contact details of groups that may be interested? We are trying to get arrangements confirmed ASAP to promote the event, so I would be very grateful if you could get back to me as soon as you can.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Rhodri
