I am a researcher working at a production company called Lonelyleap, we are working on a series of films for the National Trust about people's connection to place. What we are looking for are families who have a special connection with a place and use it to spend quality time together. I would love to talk to families from the WWII Reenactment Group who feel there is a special place for their family and have a historical connection to the local area.
To give you a sense of where we are going with this film I have included some links to some films we made earlier this year for the same campaign:
Kevin and Ged: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4iHYZtkdyUM&feature=share
Rebecca and Stuart: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eBGDB8PTgs
As you can see what we are looking for is people who have a strong personal connection to a place. It would be amazing for us to talk to a families who have a keen interest in reenactment and love experiencing a connection to their historical local area.
I have also attached the social post we have been putting out to groups on Facebook and it would be great if you could share it in any way you can. As you can see from the flyer we would like anyone interested to email research@lonelyleap.com.
We are currently working to quite a tight deadline so it would be amazing if you could get the message out there and get anyone who wants to come back to us to do so in the next few days if at all possible.
Really appreciate your help on this.
Many thanks,
Eden Gilby, eden@lonelyleap.com
