Hello ladies and gents.

I'm new to the group so hello all hope to catch up in the new year.

Right I need some help with a blank firing umarex browning gpda8.  I have had it nearly 20 years I reckon and it's a peach..however the return spring on the trigger no longer engages. Does anyone know anywhere that might be able to fix it...helston gunsmiths can't help.  Many thanks and happy xmas

I am surprised that Helston Gunsmiths wouldn't do it.  It can't be too difficult.  Can you see the fault? Perhaps photograph and find someone to fix it?  From what you say, it sounds like it works normally if you push the trigger forward yourself?

Sadly I can't see the issue.  The trigger is completely loose unless I invert the pistol and push it forward...the main issue is that the barrel can't be removed...for obvious reasons...and it obscures the mechanism...so I can't get pics of the problem....it's a bugger as the umarex browning is a beautiful piece of kit.

I'd have thought that anyone with an engineering-type brain might be able to do something?  Perhaps a friend you know?
