Following messages and discussions on the above, a date of 3rd to 4th of June 2023 has been looked at as the most suitable.

I know it’s a fair way off but if we could arrange for us all to get together at the pub fairly soon we can look at confirming the date and the planning and logistics to make the event a real success. 

You’ll each be able to see the facilities we have and make suggestions so that we can provide what each of you and your groups need to make it a great weekend for everyone.

I can be flexible and accommodate most times of the day to suit you.

We not all had chance to speak yet but I thought if I outlined what I had in mind and had to offer, it would provide the basis for future conversation and subsequent refinement.

My wife Linda and I have recently taken over running the Fox & Grapes pub in Lifton. 

There is the pub with a good size bar and dining area, a separate dining room, a very large garden and a separate hall/function room. Plus we have a number of shared facilities rooms available.

We also have a 30 acre woodland/smallholding a couple of miles away for vehicle storage, transport storage and camping.

My thoughts are for a smaller event for 2023 to sort out the logistics ready for a much larger event for the 80th anniversary in 2024.
