Trowbridge Uniform Day

Good morning

I work for Trowbridge Town Council and next year we are looking to organise an Emergency Services Day / Uniform Day event on 10th September in Trowbridge Park.  The event will follow Emergency Services Day which takes place on 9th September each year. We want to show our support for the NHS and emergency services.

We are very keen to highlight the amazing work that the emergency services and armed forces do.  We are hoping to source a selection of stalls, information points, displays etc from each of the emergency services.  It would be great to highlight their fantastic work along with educating the general public about key campaigns, recruitment and looking back over the years at how things have changed.  Vehicle displays, dog demos, service bands…anything goes and we would love to have a great variety of exhibits to interest a wide audience.

I wonder whether your organisation is able to get involved in this type of community event?  If so, I wonder whether would you be available for a discussion in terms of availability and stalls / activities that may work at the event?  We feel that some re-enactment displays would be a great addition to the event.

This is a new event for us and we are keen to get going with planning great content for our visitors to enjoy.  We are really open to suggestions for activities and displays that will be appealing to a wide audience.
